Hewelett Packard went big when they decided to celebrate their four million dollars in sales in Middle Eastern markets. HP took the best selling office printer that they had sold and covered it in 24 karat gold.

The fully functional printer was displayed at the Gitex IT exhibition in 2006, which is among the top three information technology conventions in the world. This convention is a way for 1,200 exhibitors that represent 2,274 companies from 61 different countries reach the Middle Eastern markets. Being that the purpose of the printer was to note the success of HP is the Middle East, this was the perfect place to display the laser printer.

The printer is worth approximately $20,000 USD and HP plans to auction it off with the proceeds going to charity.
